The Washout Risk
Picture Rocks is built on runoff channels from the Tucson Mountains. When it rains, water moves fast. It scours the ground. We constantly see soil washing away from the base of headstones, leaving the concrete foundation exposed.
This "undercutting" causes the stone to lean. If you ignore it, the monument tips over. Our grave site cleaning services include a structural check. We backfill the washout and pack the soil to keep the tribute standing straight.
Open Desert Dust
There is no windbreak here. The wind carries fine, silty dust that packs into the lettering like cement. You can't just brush it out. If you are searching for headstone cleaning services near me because the name looks blurry, that is packed silt. We use pressurized water to flush the grooves clean.
"This was truly an incredible experience. Dachi, and the team of people did a fantastic job. We worked with Dachi and he went above and beyond what was expected. We are very appreciative of the work. Blessing to the crew! We recommend their work."

Sun Bleach
With zero shade, the UV exposure is total. It burns the contrast paint out of the engravings. The text fades into the stone. We handle memorial restoration services by re-inking the letters with industrial pigment that stands up to the desert glare.
